Description One of two hot plates, this tin-glazed earthenware plate has an image of a male and female, dressed in classical clothing. The female is wearing a corseted dress, hat and lace necklace while the gentlemen is dressed in stocking, breaches, a cravat, coat and a tricorne hat. The gentleman’s accessories include a satchel and a rifle. The two figures appear to be going for a walk accompanied by a medium sized dog located at the bottom right of the image. There is a black tree like boarder that frames the image.
