Title Redwood Library - West Façade
Artist Grosvenor, Richard, 1928-
Date n.d.
Description Artist Richard Grosvenor's watercolor painting captures the West Façade of the Redwood Library. The painting captures a time in the Library's history before the construction of the Delivery Room in 1875. Before its arrival the main entrance was the large door located on Bellevue Avenue, however, once architect George Chaplin Mason completed the Delivery Room addition, the main entranced shifted to the doors located on Redwood Street. Also, within the painting a patriotic statue of George Washington adorns the walkway to the original entrance of the Library.
