Description |
Andrew Robeson (1817-1874) was a Director of the Redwood Library and in 1872 donated the Redwood Street gates from Abraham Redwood's town house on Thames Street. Robeson, an industrialist in Massachusetts, built Cedars/Elm Court on Bellevue Avenue in Newport in the 1850s. Portrait. Bust of adult male figure, facing slightly left, full beard. He has brown hair and eyes. He is wearing a black necktie, white shirt, black waistcoat, and black overcoat. The background is dark olive green. |
